Cluster Assembly

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Position the steering column to its lowest position.
  3. Remove the left Instrument Panel Trim Panel. Refer to PANEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM, CENTER, REMOVAL .

  4. Using a trim tool, release the gap hider (1) from the instrument panel.

  5. Remove the fasteners (1) that secure the instrument cluster (2).

  6. Slide the instrument cluster toward the rear of the vehicle to release it from the instrument panel (2).
  7. Disconnect the instrument cluster wire harness connector on the back of the cluster housing (1).
  8. Remove the instrument cluster (1) from the vehicle.
