Cluster Assembly

  1. Make sure the steering column is at its lowest position.
  2. Position the instrument cluster close enough to the instrument panel to connect the instrument panel wire harness connector to the back of the cluster housing.

  3. Install the instrument cluster (1) into instrument panel (2), aligning the mounting tabs.

  4. Install the fasteners (1) and tighten them securely.

  5. Install the gap hider (1). Verify the retaining clips are fully inserted into the instrument panel.
  6. Install the left Instrument Panel Trim Panel. Refer to PANEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM, CENTER, INSTALLATION .
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
