Bucket Seat

NOTE:

It is not necessary to remove the seat from the vehicle.

NOTE:

This procedure is shown in illustration on seats equipped with heated seats.

Use a trim tool and remove the sill plate (1).

Raise the seat. Remove the screw cover and the screw (1). Remove the two screws (2).

Using a hook tool (2), hook the clip and pull downward. Then pull off the recliner handle (1).

Use trim tool and remove the outboard side shield (1).

Separate the inboard side shield (3) from the lower panel (2).
Pull the bottom clips (1) loose and remove the lower panel.
Use a trim tool and remove the inboard side shield.

Open the cover plate (3) and disconnect the wire harness connector (2).
Use a trim tool and separate the hinge covers (1).

Pull the hinge cover (3) aside, unclip the harness connector (2) from the frame and route the wire harness (1) out.

Disconnect the wire harness connector (1).

Under the seat, release all the J-clips (2), then remove the foam and cover assembly (1).

Pull the seat back cover (1) away from the foam, cut the hog rings (2) and remove.
