Switch, Remote Radio: Removal
WARNING:
On vehicles equipped with airbags, refer to electrical, restraints before attempting any steering wheel, steering column, or instrument panel component diagnosis or service. Failure to take the proper precautions could result in accidental airbag deployment and possible personal injury.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the driver side airbag. Refer to AIR BAG, DRIVER, REMOVAL

- Disconnect the wire harness connector.NOTE:
Noting the position of the wire harnesses in the steering wheel will assist during assembly.
- Remove the screws (1).
- Remove the remote radio switch from the steering wheel.
