Lamp, Mirror: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the glass from the mirror assembly. Refer to MIRROR, OUTSIDE REARVIEW, GLASS, REMOVAL .
- From the inside of the mirror housing, remove the fasteners (1) that secure the lamp lens and bulb assembly.
- Push lightly from the inside of the mirror assembly on the back of the lamp (1) to help release it from the mirror housing.
- Twist the bulb socket (1) counter clockwise to remove it from the mirror lamp assembly.
- If the signal bulb (1) is defective, it can be removed by popping the tab and releasing the bulb from its socket.
