Lamp, License Plate: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the left rear door interior panel assembly.
- Disconnect the wire harness connectors (2) from the back of the license plate bracket.
- Remove the fasteners (1) securing the bracket to the rear door.
- Remove the panel from the rear cargo door.
- Using a trim stick or equivalent, press inward on the tension spring (1) to release the lamp cover from the assembly.
- Remove the cover from the opposite side of the trim panel that the lamp seats in.
- Remove the bulb (1) for replacement.
