This Diagnostic Runs Continuously When The Following Conditions Are Met:

With The Engine Running For More Than One Minute.
The Pcm Has Performed And Passed The Zero Learn Diagnostic (P1404).
Throttle Input Indicating An Open Throttle Condition For More Than Approximately 2.0 Seconds.
The Egr Valve Position Is Commanded Open.
- During Normal Operation The Pcm Monitors The Difference Between The Egr Valve Open Position Actual And Desired Positions.
