Sensor, Oil Pressure: Removal

  1. Perform the fuel system pressure release procedure. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE .

  2. Raise and support the front of the lower intake manifold, leaving the wire harness retainer (1) attached at the rear of the lower intake manifold. Refer to MANIFOLD, INTAKE, REMOVAL .
    NOTE:

    It is not necessary to remove the cowl extension silencer when lifting and supporting the front of the lower intake manifold, leaving the wire harness retainer attached.

  3. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor wire harness connector (1).

  4. Remove the oil pressure sensor (1) from the oil filter housing.
