Bank 1 Solenoid 1

- Inspect the Variable Valve Lift (VVL) solenoid O-ring seal and replace if necessary.
- Insert the VVL solenoid into the cylinder head cover.
- Install the retaining bolt (1) and tighten to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the wire harness connector (2) to the VVL solenoid.
- Install the upper intake manifold. Refer to MANIFOLD, INTAKE, INSTALLATION
