Seal, Crankshaft Oil, Front: Installation

CAUTION:
The front crankshaft seal must be installed dry. Do not apply lubricant to sealing lip or to outer edge.
- Install the threaded rod (1) from the (special tool #2042300090, Installer, Front Damper) into the crankshaft (2) until seated.NOTE:
The front crankshaft oil seal must be installed in the same position as noted during removal. The stamped part number will face the front of the engine.
- Using Seal Installer (special tool #2042300090, Installer, Front Damper), install the crankshaft front oil seal.
- Install the vibration damper. Refer to DAMPER, VIBRATION, INSTALLATION .
