3.6L Single Exhaust

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Support the exhaust system using a suitable jack.
  3. Saturate the nuts with Mopar® Rust Inhibitor. Allow 5 minutes for penetration.

  4. Remove the ground strap (2).
  5. Remove the two rear exhaust isolators (1).

  6. Remove the exhaust isolators (1).

  7. Remove the two exhaust isolators (1) from the muffler.

    NOTE:

    Muffler removal is a two-man operation.

  8. Remove the four spring nuts (1) and the muffler/tailpipe (2) assembly from vehicle.
