Lamp, Dome: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Using a trim stick, insert the tip at the location shown (1) and press inward to the lamp to relieve the spring tension. This will allow you to easily drop the dome lamp assembly (2) from its bracket.
- If replacing the unit, disconnect the lamp unit electrical connectors from the main harness and remove for replacement.
- If replacing a bulb, insert trim stick or equivalent at point (1) and flex the housing to lift the light pod cover away from the unit.
- At this point you have gained access to both the drivers side (1) and passenger side (2) dome lamp bulbs. Replaced as needed.
