Switch, Remote Radio: Installation
WARNING:
On vehicles equipped with airbags, refer to electrical, restraints before attempting any steering wheel, steering column, or instrument panel component diagnosis or service. Failure to take the proper precautions could result in accidental airbag deployment and possible personal injury.
- Connect the wire harness connector to the remote radio switch.
- Position the remote radio switch to the steering wheel and secure the wire harnesses.
- Install and securely tighten the four screws (1).
- Install the driver side airbag. Refer to AIR BAG, DRIVER, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
