Removal - Front Lamp Unit
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- There are two covers to remove from the headlamp assembly. Remove the upper headlamp cover (2) by removing the fasteners (1) that secure the cover in place. Lift up and pull away.
- Remove the fastener (1) on the lower cover trim (3). Pull out on the cover and reach in behind with a trim stick or equivalent item to press on a retaining tab. Pressing on this tab allows the cover to be pulled free from the vehicle. Without accessing this tab, the cover could break.
- With both covers removed you can now access the fasteners (1) that secure the headlamp to the vehicle.
- Pull the front lamp assembly forward to access the rear of the unit.
- Disconnect the headlamp wire harness connector and remove the lamp from the vehicle.
