Lamp, Mirror: Removal
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the glass from the mirror assembly. Refer to MIRROR, OUTSIDE REARVIEW, GLASS, REMOVAL .
- From the inside of the mirror housing, remove the fasteners (1) that secure the lamp lens and bulb assembly in place.
- Push lightly from the inside of the mirror assembly on the back of the lamp to help release it from the mirror housing.
- Twist the bulb socket (1) counter clockwise to remove from the back of the mirror lamp assembly. Remove the lamp from the vehicle.
- If the signal bulb (1) is defective, you can remove it at this point by popping the tab in order to release the bulb from its socket.
