Molding, Door Belt, Outer: Removal
- Lower the rear door glass (2) fully.
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable
- Remove the outer belt molding front screw (1) from the inner door.
- Remove the door trim panel, Refer to PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL .
.
- Using a trim stick, lift up on the rear and remove the inner door belt molding (1).
- Starting at the front of the belt molding (2), place thumbs at the bottom of the belt molding (2) and fingers at the top, between the outer belt molding (2) and door glass (1).
- Push inward with thumbs and roll the top of the belt molding (2) outward.
- Lift the belt molding up, releasing the belt molding from the door tabs.
- Repeat steps seven and eight, working towards the rear of the door.
- Slide the belt molding (2) forward to release from the tab on the applique (1).
