Cover-Bucket Seat Back

NOTE:

It is not necessary to remove the seat from the vehicle.

NOTE:

If the seat is NOT equipped with heated seat, then the side shields and lower panel will not need to be removed. This procedure is shown on seats equipped with heated seats.

Raise the seat. Remove the screw cover and the screw (1). Remove the two screws (2).

Using a hook tool (2), hook the clip and pull downward. Then pull off the recliner handle (1).

Use trim tool and remove the outboard side shield (1).

Separate the inboard side shield (3) from the lower panel (2).
Pull the bottom clips (1) loose and remove the lower panel.
Use a trim tool and remove the inboard side shield.

Disconnect the electrical connector (1) and unclip the harness (2) from the seat frame.

Use a small pick tool to depress the spring (1) and remove the headrest.

Open both side zippers (1) and open the J-strip (2).

Raise the seat back cover. Using a small tool, release the clips (1) and remove the tether cover (2).

Remove the four push fasteners (1 and 3), then remove the backer board (2).

Remove the seat back foam and cover assembly (1) from the seat frame.
Pull the seat back cover away from the foam, cut the hog rings and remove.
