Cover, Upper: Removal

  1. Remove the D-pillar trim. Refer to PANEL, D-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVAL .
  2. Release the pushpins (1) and separate the air bag from the trim.

  3. Remove the trim screws (4).
  4. Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, disengage the retaining clips that secure the side upper headliner trim (2) to the body.
  5. Release the tether from the trim and remove the headliner trim (2).
