The MIL light will illuminate.
If the misfire is severe enough to cause catalyst damage, the MIL lamp will flash and will stay illuminated on the first trip if the misfire occurs at high engine speed.
If the vehicle is equipped with the stop/start feature, the system will be disabled when this DTC is active.
