With the Oil Pump Solenoid commanded on, the PCM detects either now current draw indicating an open or excessive circuit temperature indicating a short to ground. With the Oil Pump Solenoid commanded off, the PCM detects voltage on the Oil Pump Solenoid Control circuit.
