Valve, Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION (EGR): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the EGR valve wire harness connector.

  4. Disconnect the EGR cooler hose (1) from the EGR valve.

  5. Remove the nuts and the EGR valve.
