Solenoid, Evaporative Emissions Purge: Description

The EVAP canister purge solenoid is located in the engine compartment attached to a bracket mounted on the intake manifold.

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) operates the EVAP canister purge solenoid depending upon engine operating conditions.
