Hook, Coat: Removal
- Open the coat hook (3) and locate the lock pin (2) that holds the base (1) to the mounting bracket.CAUTION:
Use care not to force the drill bit through the mounting bracket while drilling.
- Using a 6.5 mm (0.25 in.) drill bit (2) drill a guide hole through the coat hook housing (1) and into the base. Make sure the drill goes through the center of the lock pin that holds the base to the mounting bracket.CAUTION:
Use care not to force the drill bit through the mounting bracket while drilling.
- Using a 9.5 mm (0.375 in.) drill bit (3) drill through the guide hole and remove the coat hook housing (2) and base (1).
