Lamp, Courtesy, Liftgate: Removal: Bulb

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the lamp (3) from the liftgate trim panel. Refer to LAMP, COURTESY, REMOVAL  and LAMP, COURTESY, LIFTGATE, REMOVAL .
  3. Using a small thin-bladed screwdriver, gently pry the latch features of the lamp lens (5) away from the lamp housing and remove the lens from the housing.
  4. Pull the base of the bulb (4) straight out of the bulb holder within the lamp housing.
