Handle, Exterior: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the outside door handle fastener cover (1).
  3. Through the access hole, loosen the T-20 torx fastener approximately fourteen to sixteen turns to release the handle.Do not attempt to remove the fastener.

  4. Push the handle (1) forward and outward to disengage from the door.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
  6. Remove the handle from the outside of the door.
