Lamp, Tail Stop Turn: Removal: Lamp: Outer
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- From inside the trunk, peel away the close out cover (1) from the inboard end of the outer tail lamp unit and discard. The close out cover is not intended for reuse.
- Peel back the trunk trim from over the inside of the tail lamp seat.
- Disconnect the body wire harness connector (2) from the tail lamp connector receptacle.
- Remove the two nuts (1) that secure the tail lamp to the inside of the tail lamp seat.
- From the outside of the vehicle, pull the tail lamp unit straight out of the tail lamp seat in the end of the quarter panel.
