  1. Move the sunshade rearward to the open position.
  2. Move the sunroof glass panel to the fully closed position.
  3. Remove the mechanism covers.
  4. Loosen all glass attachment screws on both sides of the module such that the glass panel is adjustable in the vertical and fore-aft directions.
    NOTE:

Before making adjustments, tape a line at 300 mm outboard from the center of vehicle. This is where flush measurements are taken.

  5. Adjust the fore/aft position of the sunroof glass panel by using a 4 - 5 mm feeler gage between the roof flange and glass seal.
  6. Standing outside the vehicle (one side at a time with one hand supporting the front corner of the glass panel) lift the front glass panel corner (3) until it is between flush and slightly under flush (0.00 to - 2.5 mm) (2). Use your free hand to snug up the glass bolt with sufficient force (finger tight) that the weight of the glass panel corner is supported. Repeat this process on the other side of the vehicle.

  7. Move to the rear of the sunroof glass panel. Standing outside of the vehicle (one side at a time with one hand supporting the rear corner of the glass panel) lift the rear glass panel corner (3) until it is between flush and slightly over flush (0.00 to + 2.5 mm) (2). Use your free hand to snug up the glass bolt with sufficient force (finger tight) that the weight of the glass panel corner is supported. Repeat this process on the other side of the vehicle.
  8. Once the proper glass position has been achieved, tighten the glass panel attaching screws to 4 N.m (35 in. lbs.).
  9. Check for proper fit. If not OK, repeat glass panel adjustment.
