40% Seat Back

  1. Remove the 40% rear seat back from vehicle. Refer to SEAT BACK, REAR, REMOVAL .
  2. Separate the retainer strip (1) at the bottom of the seat back cover (2).
  3. Unzip the seat back cover zippers (3).

  4. Push the pivot bushing (1) from the backside and remove.

  5. Open the seat back cover (1) and remove the push fastener (2).
  6. Remove the seat back cover and seat back foam (3), as an assembly, from the seat back frame (4).

  7. Starting at the bottom of the seat back, pull the seat cushion cover (2) away from the foam (3) and carefully release the clip strips (1) from the molded clips (6).
  8. Lift the cover over the top of the seat back and release the hook and loop fasteners (4) and remove the seat back cover.
