  2. CHECK THE (P188) RIGHT FRONT SEAT HEATER CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN
    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Disconnect the Right Front Seat Cushion Heater harness connector.
    3. Disconnect the Right Front Seat Back Heater harness connector.
    4. With the scan tool, actuate the Heated Seat ON to HIGH.
    5. With a 12-volt test light connected to ground, check the (P188) Right Front Seat Heater Control circuit at the Right Front Seat Cushion and Right Front Seat Back Heater harness connectors (harness side).
      NOTE:

The test light must illuminate brightly. Compare the brightness to that of a direct connection to the battery.

Does the test light illuminate brightly at both connectors?

      Yes

      • Go To  3

      No

      • Repair the (P188) Right Front Seat Heater Control circuit for an open.
      • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
