Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC

NOTE:

This DTC may set when the Light Rain Sensing Module (LRSM) has been exposed to high ambient temperature for an extended period of time. Allow the module to cool to normal temperature before testing.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read the DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes
- Replace the Light Rain Sensing Module (LRSM) in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, LIGHT RAIN SENSOR, REMOVAL .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals, and correct pin tension.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
