POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM)
Repair
- Using the schematics as a guide, check the PCM connector and all related in-line connector terminals for corrosion, damage, or pushed out terminals. Pay particular attention to the power and ground circuits. Check Service Bulletins for possible causes that may apply. If no problems are found, replace and program the PCM in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL, REMOVAL .
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST for 3.6L engines or POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST for 5.7L engines .
