Inner Tie Rod

NOTE:
Count the number of turns when removing the outer tie rod end from the inner tie rod end. This will aid in setting the toe after installation.
- Remove the outer tie rod end. Refer to END, TIE ROD, REMOVAL .
- Remove the jam nut.
- Remove the two clamps (1, 3) for the inner tie rod boot (2).
- Remove the boot (2) from the tie rod.
- Using a suitable tool (2) remove the inner tie rod end (1).
