Solenoid, Evaporative Emissions Purge: Removal: 5.7L

The EVAP canister purge solenoid (2) is located in the engine compartment attached to a bracket mounted on intake manifold.

Remove engine cover.
Disconnect the vapor line (4).
Disconnect the vacuum lines (1) at the throttle body.
Disconnect the electrical connector (3) at the canister purge solenoid.
Depress the retaining tab, remove solenoid from the mounting bracket.
