Link, Stabilizer Bar: Removal: Removal

NOTE:

When the stabilizer bar or links are serviced it is recommended that a drive on hoist is used. If the suspension is hanging, there will be tension on the stabilizer bar.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the stabilizer link to stabilizer bolt/nut (1).
  3. Remove the stabilizer link to LCA bolt/nut (5).
  4. Remove the stabilizer bar link from the vehicle.
