Valve, Coolant Control: Removal: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Drain the coolant system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the cowl extension silencer. Refer to SILENCER, COWL EXTENSION, REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the coolant control valve wire harness connector (1).
- Remove the coolant lines (2) from the coolant control valve.
- Remove the coolant control valve bracket bolt (3) located near the right side ignition capacitor (1). Remove the coolant control valve and bracket assembly (2) from the vehicle.
