Factory Lockout (New Assembly)

NOTE:
When the parking brake lever assembly is installed with the front parking brake cable AND the cable housing properly connected to the lever assembly the lockout can be removed.
- Remove the factory lockout as follows:
- Squeeze the lockout hoop (3) together and twist the back side out to remove from the hole (2) in the parking brake lever.
- Pull the bottom of the lockout hoop (1) out and twist upward to remove the lockout hoop from parking brake assembly.
- Press the parking brake foot lever once and verify the parking brake assembly sets.
- Press the parking brake foot lever again and verify the parking brake assembly releases.
