A/C Compressor

The A/C compressor (1) uses an electrically operated clutch to engage and disengage the compressor from the accessory drive belt. Refer to COMPRESSOR, A/C, DESCRIPTION . The A/C compressor has suction and discharge ports (2) with integral mounting studs for the refrigerant lines and a label (3) identifying the type of refrigerant used in the A/C system.
