Evaporator, A/C, Rear: Removal: Removal

- Remove the rear heater-A/C housing and place it on a workbench. Refer to HOUSING, HVAC, REMOVAL .
- Disassemble the rear heater-A/C housing as necessary to access the A/C evaporator (1). Refer to HOUSING, HVAC, DISASSEMBLY .
- Carefully lift the rear A/C evaporator out of the outboard half of the rear heater-A/C housing (2) and remove and discard the rubber O-ring seals (3). If the foam seals around the rear evaporator are deformed or damaged, they must be replaced.
