Rear Duct

NOTE:
Take the proper precautions to protect the floor console rear trim panel from cosmetic damage while performing this procedure.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the floor console rear trim panel (1) from the back of the floor console using Trim Stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent. Disconnect any necessary electrical connectors and place the trim panel on a workbench.
- Remove the six screws (1 and 3) that secure floor console rear duct (2) to the floor console rear trim panel (4).NOTE:
If the foam seal on the console rear duct is deformed or damaged, the seal must be replaced.
- Remove the floor console rear duct from the floor console rear trim panel.
- If required, using Trim Stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) (1) or equivalent, gently pry on the air outlet barrel(s) (3) until the barrel retainers release from the pivot shafts on the console rear duct (2). Rotate the air outlet barrel(s) as necessary.
