5.7L Idler Bracket

NOTE:

The idler bracket takes the place of the power steering pump on the vehicles that use electronic power steering.

  1. Remove the serpentine drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL .
  2. Remove bolt (6) and the idler pulley (4) from bracket (2).
  3. Remove bolts (3) and the idler pulley bracket (2).
