Sensor, Manifold Air Pressure (Map): Removal: 3.6L

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect the Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) sensor wire connector (1).

  4. Rotate the MAP sensor (1) 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pull the sensor straight up and out of the upper intake manifold.

  5. The MAP sensor O-ring can be reused if not damaged.
