Sensor, Manifold Air Pressure (Map): Installation: 3.6L

The Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) sensor O-ring can be reused if not damaged.
Apply a small amount of engine oil to the sensor O-ring (1).

Install the MAP sensor (1) into the upper intake manifold and rotate 1/4 turn clockwise.

Connect the MAP sensor wire connector (1).
Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable.
