Battery, Supplemental: Installation: Installation-Supplemental

Wear a suitable pair of rubber gloves when removing a battery by hand. Safety glasses should also be worn. If the battery is cracked or leaking, the electrolyte can burn the skin and eyes.
- Install the supplemental battery into the vehicle.
- Install the battery hold down into position and install the battery hold down nut (1).
- Position back the positive battery cable (3) and connect to the supplemental battery.
- Position back the negative battery cable (2) and connect to the supplemental battery.
- Connect the main battery negative battery cable.
- Install the battery cover.
- Move the passenger seat back to its original position.
