NOTE:

The front dome and the front map/reading lamps are integral to the overhead console (1) in the headliner near the windshield. Both the incandescent dome lamps and the Light Emitting Diode (LED) map/reading lamps share the same two lenses (2) in the overhead console. Both the dome lamps and the map/reading lamps are turned ON and OFF by the door ajar switches or by the interior lighting thumbwheel of the headlamp switch. The front dome lamps can be turned ON independently by depressing the lamp lenses, while the front map/reading lamps are turned ON or OFF independently by the two map/reading lamp push button switches (3). The incandescent dome lamp bulbs are serviceable; however, the LED map/reading lamps as well as all of the switches, lamp housings, lenses and wiring are serviced only as a unit with the overhead console assembly.

Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove the overhead console from the headliner, but do not disconnect it. Refer to CONSOLE, OVERHEAD, FRONT, REMOVAL .

Reach above the top of the over head console (1) to access and rotate the bulb and bulb holder unit (2) counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it from the keyed opening in the lamp housing.
Pull the bulb holder and bulb straight out of the housing.
