Seal, Differential: Installation: Left

- Clean the axle shaft seal bores.
- Install the seal (1) using (special tool #C-3995-A, Installer, Seal) (2), and (special tool #C-4171, Driver Handle, Universal) (3).
- Tap the seal into position until firmly seated against the transaxle case.
- Install the axle shaft. Refer to INSTALLATION or INSTALLATION .
- Check transaxle fluid level and adjust as necessary. Refer to FLUID for the appropriate fluid level and check procedure within this information.
