Relay, Trailer Tow: Removal: Removal
NOTE:
There are three relays included with the trailer tow preparation wiring kit. They are: the trailer tow right stop/turn relay (4), the trailer tow left stop/turn relay (5) and the trailer tow park lamps relay (6). The service procedures for all three relays are the same.
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Remove the rear fascia from the vehicle. Refer to FASCIA, REAR, REMOVAL .
- Locate the trailer tow right stop/turn relay (4), the trailer tow left stop/turn relay (5) or the trailer tow park lamps relay (6) in the connector of the trailer tow wire harness (3) secured to the underside of the rear bumper reinforcement (1).
- Pull the relay straight out from the wire harness connector.
