Input Bearing And Race - Removal

The input bearing (3)(Figure 1) is a one-piece bearing and sleeve unit. The sleeve is the slide point for the clutch-release bearing and lever.





1. Install Puller (2) and Slide Hammer (1) over into bearing on the gear case side of the transaxle clutch housing (4).
2. Pull the input bearing (3) out of the housing.
