Description - LHD
The Instrument Cluster for this vehicle has provisions for up to 22 indicators and houses four analog gauges, for more information on gauges, that are all controlled by the Cab Compartment Node (CCN). Refer to GAUGE PACK, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, DESCRIPTION . Some of the indicators are automatically configured when the CCN is connected to the vehicle electrical system for compatibility with certain optional equipment or equipment required for regulatory purposes in certain markets. While each cluster may have provisions for indicators to support every available option, the configurable indicators will not be functional in a vehicle that does not have the equipment that an indicator supports.
The instrument cluster includes provisions for the following indicators:
- Airbag Indicator (20)
- Ajar Indicators - icon in the odometer display (19) for doors and liftgate in vehicles without EVIC, or icon and text message in the EVIC display (18) of vehicles with that option
- Antilock Brake System (ABS) Indicator (10)
- Brake Indicator (23) - text only for U.S. market, icon only for markets outside U.S.
- Charging Indicator (21)
- Cruise Indicator - text indicator in odometer display (19)
- Fuel Saver Indicator - bar scale will display 15 - 30 MPG in EVIC if equipped.
- Electronic Stability Control (ESC) Indicator (14)
- Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Indicator - icon (3) in vehicles without EVIC, or icon in the EVIC display (18) of vehicles with that option
- Engine Coolant Temperature Indicator (27)
- ESC OFF Indicator (13)
- Front Fog Lamp Indicator (5)
- Gas Cap Indicator - icon in EVIC display (18) with gasoline engine only

Each indicator in the instrument cluster, except those located within a Vacuum-Florescent Display (VFD) unit, is illuminated by a dedicated Light Emitting Diode (LED) that is soldered onto the CCN electronic circuit board. Cluster illumination is accomplished by several dimmable LED units, which illuminate each of the gauge dial faces for visibility when the exterior lighting is turned ON. These LED units are not available for service replacement and, if damaged or ineffective, the entire CCN must be replaced.
