Using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, remove the lower cowl trim panel. Refer to PANEL, COWL TRIM, REMOVAL . Repeat on opposite side.
Using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, remove the end cap (1) from the instrument panel. Repeat on opposite side.
