Prop, Gas, Liftgate: Removal: Removal

  1. Open liftgate.
  2. Using a small flat bladed tool or equivalent, release the retaining clips while pulling the ball socket away from the ball stud.

  3. Remove the gas prop-rod lock caps.
  4. Remove the support cylinder.
